About the Doctor:    
Deborah R. Bernstein MD graduated from Douglass College, Rutgers University with a BA in Human Communication and Minor in Psychology. She worked in sales after graduation. She then studied at University of Bridgeport for her Masters in Bio-Nutrition and took graduate courses in Psychology, and Exercise Physiology.

After graduating from medical school at the Medical College of Pennsylvania, she completed a general medicine internship and specialized in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She continues to take many additional courses, most of which are oriented towards nutrition, functional medicine, and holistic medicine.

She is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Integrative Holistic Medicine, and is an Institute For Functional Medicine IFM Certified Practitioner.
